Common questions about working with AudienceShift — a Singapore audience and lifecycle marketing agency on retainer or project scope.

AudienceShift team standup meeting
Is AudienceShift a wellness brand, CRM SaaS product, or audience growth course?

No. We are a Singapore marketing agency that plans and runs audience strategy, segmentation, CRM programmes and lifecycle campaigns for client brands — not a wellness or life-coaching service despite the .life domain, not a CRM SaaS you subscribe to, and not a course or bootcamp teaching audience growth tactics. "Audience" means the people your brand serves; "Shift" means moving them through lifecycle stages with intent — not a software feature or training certificate. We cannot and do not guarantee audience growth, engagement rates, leads or sales; outcomes depend on budget, market, product and competition.

What engagement models do you offer?

Monthly SGD retainers for integrated audience and lifecycle management are our primary model — typically covering audience strategy, segmentation, CRM programme management, email flows and attribution reporting. Fixed project scopes work for segmentation audits, persona research sprints, CRM rebuilds or retention programme design. We outline deliverables, reporting cadence and notice terms in a written agreement before work begins. Hybrid models combining a strategy project with a subsequent retainer are common for brands building audience capability from scratch.

What are typical SGD budgets?

Integrated audience and lifecycle retainers for SMEs and scale-ups often start from S$7,500 per month. Smaller channel-specific retainers — email flows only, or organic social plus community — from S$4,500. Project scopes vary: a segmentation audit and persona research sprint from S$5,500, a full CRM programme rebuild from S$12,000, a retention loop design project from S$8,000. We tailor scope to your data maturity, channel mix and cohort KPIs. Media spend and platform subscription fees are separate and passed through transparently where applicable.

How long does onboarding take?

Most retainers kick off within two to three weeks of signed scope: access to CRM, email platform and analytics, brand asset review, stakeholder interviews and initial segmentation outline. CRM migration projects may take four to six weeks for data audit and flow mapping before sends resume. We do not promise overnight audience growth or instant retention uplift — sustainable segmentation models require evidence gathering first.

Which channels and platforms do you work with?

CRM and email platforms including HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and others. Organic social on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and niche communities where your audience actually gathers. We coordinate lifecycle touchpoints across channels but do not force every platform on every client. Paid media management is out of scope unless scoped separately through a partner — our focus is audience strategy, segmentation, CRM, retention and organic community.

How often do you report?

Monthly cohort reporting is standard for retainers, with a dashboard view agreed upfront. Fortnightly during CRM migrations or major segmentation changes. Reports include lifecycle KPIs — cohort retention, email performance by segment, churn risk flags, reactivation results and next-step recommendations. Results-oriented framing without guaranteed ROI claims. Leadership summaries in plain Singapore English, not jargon-heavy exports.

What are contract and notice terms?

Retainers typically run on a six- or twelve-month initial term with thirty days' notice thereafter. Project scopes are fixed-fee with milestone billing — discovery, build, launch and handover. Specific terms are in your service agreement. We believe in earning retention through work quality, not punitive lock-in clauses. Early termination terms are stated clearly before signing.

How do you handle personal data under Singapore PDPA?

We collect only what is needed to deliver services and respond to enquiries. Contact form data is used to reply to your message — consent is never pre-ticked. Client audience data is processed under contract with appropriate safeguards, access controls and purpose limitation. We do not sell contact lists or share client data with third parties except where required for platform delivery and covered by data processing terms. See our Privacy Policy for rights, retention periods and DPO contact.

What do you NOT do?

We do not guarantee audience growth, rankings, leads, sales or ROI. We do not provide wellness coaching, life planning, personal development programmes or health advice. We do not sell audience-growth courses, marketing bootcamps or certification programmes. We do not operate a CRM SaaS product — we work inside yours. We do not promote get-rich-quick schemes, crypto or forex trading, MLM, or dropshipping businesses. We are not financial advisers.

Who owns the CRM, segmentation models and data?

You do. We request delegated access to your CRM, email platform and analytics properties. All segmentation models, email templates, persona research documents and first-party data remain yours. At the end of an engagement we transition cleanly — documentation, flow maps and access handover included. No hostage-taking of accounts or proprietary lock-in on models we built for your brand.
